The Diplomaticos brand s history dates back to 1966, launched during Cuba s post-revolutionary era. That year, five cigars were introduced in the same formats as the famous Montecristo from 1 to 5. Later 1976, two more formats were added, corresponding to the Montecristo Especial and Especial No. 2.

Today, only Diplomaticos No. 2 remains a permanent member of the range, enjoying an excellent reputation among cigar lovers worldwide.

The latest regional edition features the gordito con cabeza tombada format vitola del galera Insólito, with a 50-ring gauge and a generous length of 141 mm. This gem is presented in boxes of 10 cigars each, with production limited to 15,000 numbered boxes. It is a true rarity that will appeal to both collectors and connoisseurs.
